I found this used video store that has tons of used VHS versions of TCM 2. How exactly can I tell if any of them are the uncut vhs version? All the boxarts looked the same to me. Anyone know? thanks ![:-*](http://home.insightbb.com/~leatherfacette/flface.gif)

This is the VHS jacket you'll need to look for: ![](http://images.amazon.com/images/P/6304282672.01.MZZZZZZZ.jpg) It's not technically "uncut", but it's the Anchor Bay special edition that contains the deleted scenes at the end.. Unfortunately, there is no genuine uncut version -- just bootlegged "uncut" versions of what the movie would be like if it had been released in its entirety..

Well the video store didn't have the right one. They had the ones with Dennis Hopper on the front. I did buy the TCM: A Family Portrait DVD though. That's pretty good ![;)](http://home.insightbb.com/~leatherfacette/freddyclaws.gif)

I don't know of any authentic UNCUT copies of the movies that are high or even medium video quality. The copy I have is infact an original UNCUT copy and it is cut and pasted.

I'm not terribly surprised that they didn't have it. Again, your best bet for finding it likely is on eBay (or you could try to buy it from a private seller on Amazon because they do have a listing for that particular edition, but in my experience, you rarely get what you order if you choose to go that route). National market rather than local & all that jazz. Then again, I have found the strangest things in used CD/VHS/DVD type stores, so who can tell? Granted, it goes without saying that I would love it if they released a true uncut version to the general public, but I also would've loved it if they'd included some special features on the DVD. Unfortunately, I'm just a nameless peon with absolutely no influence in the realm of cinematic marketing. And yeah, I know the DVD had the trailer, but that wasn't all that special, now was it? ![:D](http://home.insightbb.com/~leatherfacette/fdevil.gif)
