Im confused...so TCM3 familiy was a set of new people or people who just didn't apear in the first and second film? Or was that a whole new Leatherface? Please clear this up for me.

I think it's a new family, like in TCM Next Generation. I'm not really sure though. Or maybe they are just a buch of crazy wanna be Sawyer family lol.

I doubt that continuity with the first two films was ever a real priority in making TCM 3 (regardless of Stretch's cameo). Leatherface was as good as dead at the end of TCM 2...but what kind of sequel could be made without the big guy? I don't know, maybe against all odds Leatherface survived, moved in with some more of his crazy kin and continued the family business. Stranger shit has happened in the world of horror.
TCM 3 plays out better in my mind as a re-imagining rather than a sequel.

On the Wikipedia entry there is mention that this film sets itself up as the first true sequel to the original (oh, the conceit!) and that the second film was really just a fevered nightmare of Sally Hardesty's. Even if that were the case, introducing an entirely new family was a stretch too far. Horror films may just be dumb entertainment (something I refute but that's another debate entirely) but at the very least they should have some sort of internal logic, especially if they're a sequel.

Most probably which is weird because his name was Drayton. Maby Drayton was a nickname. Because supposibly Chop Top died after getting his stomach sawed open by Strech. Leatherface also had a chainsaw wedged into his stomach, but Drayton was stuck under the table while the garnade went off. Maby the garnade blew up Lefty and grandpa but left Drayton alive somewhat and he was found by lawmen then Leatherface some how got away with a massive scar on his stomach.
